Drilling & Blasting Operative

Job Description

Reporting to the Drilling & Blasting Manager, your key tasks will be to operate the drill rigs and carry out shotfiring duties .

Person Specification

It is essential that you are an experienced Shotfirer, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 qualification. It would be an advantage if you have experience as a drill rig operator but full training will be given to the right candidate. In addition, it is essential that you have an awareness of Heath and Safety issues
